The petitioner No.1 (Prem Chand) died on 02.02.2003 leaving behind his son

Sat Pal. I.A.No.2 has now been filed for substitution of legal represe ntatives of

petitioner No.1 in Special Leave Petition (C) No.....(CC No.7813). It is stated by the

learned counsel for the petitioners that Prem Chand, Petitioner No.1, died on

02.02.2003 when the matter was pending before the High Court and no st eps were

taken by the party concerned to bring on record the legal representative s. We,

therefore, cannot now implead Sat Pal son of Prem Chand, petitioner No.1 , as a

petitioner in this Special Leave Petition since the matter has already abated. Hence,

Special Leave Petition (C) No.....(CC No.7813) stands dismissed only against petitioner

No.1 (Prem Chand).
