UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
1 Mr Parveen Kumar has appeared in these proceedings in-person.
- 2 During the course of the hearing, we had suggested to Mr Parveen Kumar that it would be appropriate in the interests of justice if legal assistance is made available to him for presenting submissions on his behalf before this Court, having regard to the chequered history of the litigation. Mr Parveen Kumar has stated that he is unable to engage a lawyer due to his inability to pay fees. He has agreed to the suggestion that this Court will appoint counsel to appear as Amicus Curiae.
- 3 We accordingly request Mr Gaurav Agarwal, learned counsel to appear and assist the Court as Amicus Curiae.
- 4 The Registry shall make available a set of the paper books in the Writ Petition and Special Leave Petition to the Amicus Curiae.
- 5 The petition under Article 32 and the Special Leave Petition shall be listed on on 7 September 2020.
