UPON hearing the counsel, the Court made the following O R D E R
Permission to file the special leave petition is granted.
Issue notice on the special leave petition as well as on the application for condonation of delay.
Ms. Devina Sehgal, learned counsel, assisting Mr. S. Niranjan Reddy, learned senior counsel, who is present in Court on advance notice/caveat, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos. 1 to 5. Therefore, formal notice is waived.
Issue notice to the remaining respondents.
Substituted service by publication is permitted.
At this stage, Ms. Meenkashi Arora, learned senior counsel appearing for the petitioners would pray for interim relief on the ground that the official respondents are carrying out the demolition on the subject land. However, considering that the matter is listed without prior information to the respondents/counsel as stated by Mr. S. Niranjan Reddy, learned senior counsel, we are not inclined to consider the interim prayer today.
Post the matter on 12.06.2025.
