The present special leave petition has been filed with a delay of 719 days and 119 days in refiling.

On the same issue, numbers of special leave petitions are pending and notices have been issued by this Bench. As per office report, some of the special leave petitions have already been dismissed by co-ordinate Benches. The State
ITEM NO.7 COURT NO.6 SECTION XI-A
Government is continuously filing the special leave petitions on the same issue. In view of the above, we deem it appropriate to direct the Registry to list all the connected cases with SLP (C) No. 7389 of 2024, namely, State of Odisha and Others Vs. Panchanan Panda after two weeks for analogous hearing, or at the earliest.
- In this regard for listing, if needed, appropriate orders may be obtained from Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India.
