The challenge in this petition under Article 32 of the Constitution is to certain State Amendments made to the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

The Amendments made to the Act are by the States of Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Jharkhand.

Issue notice only to these States on the validity of the Amendments made.
