The matters above mentioned were listed before the Hon'ble Court on 06.07.2015, when the Court was pleased to pass the following order:

"Heard.

Learned counsel for respondent no.2 prays for and is granted four weeks' time to file a counter affidavit. Notice to respondent no.1-State is dispensed with as the said respondent is formal in nature.

Learned counsel for the parties submit that their clients are not averse to exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement with the help of the Mediation Centre in the Supreme Court.

The parties are accordingly referred to the Mediation Centre in the Supreme Court with the direction that they shall appear before the said Centre on Monday, the 3rd August, 2015 for a possible amicable settlement.

The Mediation Centre shall submit a report as to the progress made expeditiously but not later than two months from the date the parties appear before it.

The amount deposited by the petitioner shall be invested in a term deposit initially for a period of six months to enure interest for the benefit of the successful party. "

It is submitted that pursuant to the order quoted above, Supreme Court Mediation Centre, New Delhi has forwarded mediation report stating therein that parties could not arrived at amicable settlement and mediation failed. Copy of the mediation report is enclosed herewith for kind perusal of Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that pursuant to the order quoted above, amount in question i.e. Rs. 2,82,35,580/- has been invested in FDR. The date of maturity is 01.02.2017.

It is further submitted that Mr. Yashraj Singh Deroa, Advocate has on 20.01.2016 filed Vakalatnama/Appearance and Counter Affidavit on behalf of Respondent No.2 in SLP(Crl.)Nos. 3534-3535 of 2015. Copy of the Counter Affidavit is included in SLP Paper Books.

It is further submitted that Mr. Yashraj Singh Deora, Advocate has on 14.03.2016 again filed Counter Affidavit with some additional ground on behalf of Respondent No.2 in SLP(Crl.)Nos. 3534-3535 of 2015. Copy of the same is included in SLP Paper Books for kind perusal of Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that Mr. D.S. Mahra, Advocate has filed Vakalatnama/Appearance on behalf of State of NCT of Delhi in all SLPs.

It is lastly submitted that A.D. Card duly signed has been received for Respondent No.2 in SLP(Crl.)Nos. 3529-3533 of 2015.

Service of show cause notice is complete, but no one has entered appearance on behalf of Respondent No.2 in SLP(Crl.)Nos. 3529-3533 of 2015.

The matters above-mentioned are listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
