Learned counsel for respondent no.2 prays for and is granted four weeks' time to file a counter affidavit. Notice to respondent no.1-State is dispensed with as the said spondent is formal in nature. $\mathsf{Singn}$

10:12:22 $\overline{IS}$ <br>Reason: Learned counsel for the parties submit that their clients are not averse to exploring the possibility of an amicable settlement with the help of the Mediation Centre in the Supreme Court.

The parties are accordingly referred to the Mediation Centre in the Supreme Court with the direction that they shall appear before the said Centre on Monday, the 3rd August, 2015 for a possible amicable settlement.

The Mediation Centre shall submit a report as to the progress made expeditiously but not later than two months from the date the parties appear before it.

The amount deposited by the petitioner shall be invested in a term deposit initially for a period of six months to enure interest for the benefit of the successful party.
