The Civil appeals along with applications above mentioned were listed before the Hon'ble Court with other connected matters on 07/02/2017 with office report dated 03/02/2017, When the Hon'ble Court was pleased to pass the following order:-
"CA No.2453 of 2007
This Court in Original Suit No.5 of 2003 instituted under Article 131 of the Constitution of India by the State of Andhra Pradesh against the State of Karnataka and another has thought it appropriate that the said suit should be listed along with the present civil appeal.
Mr. G. Umapathy, learned counsel along with Mr. Guntur Prabhakar, learned counsel for the State of Tamil Nadu, Mr. F.S. Nariman, learned counsel appearing for the State of Karnataka and Mr. Shekhar Naphade, learned senior counsel appearing for the State of Tamil Nadu very fairly stated that the suit need not be heard along with the present civil appeal inasmuch as it pertains to a different controversy altogether.

The Registry is directed not to list the Original Suit No.5 of 2003 along with the present appeal.

CIVIL APPEAL NO. 2453 OF 2007.
It is further submitted that there are four respondents in this appeals. All the respondents are represented by their respective advocates.
Civil appeal is ready.
CIVIL APPEAL NO. 2456 OF 2007.
It is submitted that there are three respondents in this appeal and all are represented by their respective advocates.
It is further submitted that Mr. B. Bala Ji, Advocate has on 23/02/2017 filed an application for taking on record the additional documents in Vol. XV to XIX (Regd. I.A. No.21/2017). Copies of all Vol. XV to XIX have been placed with respective appeal paper books.
It is also submitted that Ms. Supreeta Sharanagouda, Advocate has on 24/09/2016 filed an application for intervention to allow the S. Suresh and Ors. to intervene in this appeal (Regd. I.A. No.14/2016). Copies of the both application have been placed with appeal paper books for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.
It is lastly submitted that the instant appeal has been de-tagged with Original Suit No. 5 of 2003 vide Court's order dated 07/02/2017. Civil appeal No. 2453 of 2007 (XIV) and Civil appeal No. 2454/2007 (Section XII), instead of sending Original record a letter dated 22/06/2009 has been received from Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal, Govt. of India, Ministry of Water resources stating therein that Original record consists of statement of cases, Counter affidavits and rejoinders followed by evidence and final arguments which run into thousands of pages.
Counsel for the appellant has on 25/06/2013 filed Contempt Petition (Civil) alongwith Annexures A to I alongwith Vakalatnama and Memo of appearance in the appeal above mentioned and registered as Contempt Petition (Civil) No. 225 of 2013. Copy of the Contempt Petition has been placed with appeal paper books.
It is lastly submitted that Review Petition (Civil) No.3662 of 2016 in Civil Appeal No. 2456 of 2007 is pending before this Court.
Civil appeal No. 2454 /2007 is related with Section XII.
The Civil appeals alongwith Contempt Petition and applications above mentioned are listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
