The application for modification of Court's order dated 05/09/2016 and 06/09/2016 of this Court filed by Mr. V. N. Raghupathy, Advocate on behalf of state of Karnataka (Regd. 12/2016) in the appeal above mentioned was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 12/09/2016 and Copy of Court's order has been placed with respective appeal paper books.
It is submitted that Ms. Aparna Bhat, Advocate has on 19th September, 2016 filed an application for intervention to allow the applicant to intervene in this appeal (Regd. I.A. No.13/2016). Copy of the application has been placed with appeal paper books.
It is further submitted that there are three respondents in this appeal and all are represented by their respective advocates.
It is also submitted that Counsel for the appellant has on 25/06/2013 filed Contempt Petition (Civil) alongwith Annexures A to I alongwith Vakalatnama and Memo of appearance in the appeal above mentioned and registered as Contempt Petition (Civil) No. 225 of 2013. Copy of the Contempt Petition has been placed with appeal paper books.
It is lastly submitted that the instant appeal has been tagged with Original Suit No. 3 of 2001 (Main matter of Section III-A.),Civil appeal No. 2453 of 2007 (XIV) and Civil appeal No. 2454/2007 (Section XII) and all matters will be listed before Hon'ble Court on 18/10/2016 vide Court's order dated 22/07/2016, instead of sending Original record a letter dated 22/06/2009 has been received from Cauvery Water Dispute Tribunal, Govt. of India, Ministry of Water resources stating therein that Original record consists of statement of cases, Counter affidavits and rejoinders followed by evidence and final arguments which run into thousands of pages.
The application in the Civil appeal above mentioned is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this Office Report.
