UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R Issue Rule.

The petitioner undertakes that in case the decision goes against him, he will pay a sum of Rs. 30 lakhs under the bond or do rural service even if in the meanwhile he has completed super-specialty course.

Shri Basant, learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the State of West Bengal states that the Government will release the documents temporarily to the institute and get them back after verification to enable the institute to verify the documents for the purpose of admitting the petitioner. The petitioner may be allowed to appear in the counseling for superspecialty course.

However, this order shall be subject to filing of the above undertaking within one week before this Court.
