Chelameswar in Civil Appeal No. 7358 of 2016 (Vijay Kumar Mishra and Anr. Vs. High Court of Judicature at Patna & Ors.). It shall, therefore, be more appropriate if these petitions shall be listed tomorrow i.e. on 23.11.2016 before a Bench presided over by Hon'ble Mr. Justice J. Chelameswar."
Writ Petition(C) No. 77 of 2016
It is submitted that pursuant to order dated 19.09.2016, Mr. Aniruddha P. Mayee, Advocate has on 20.09.2016 filed counter affidavit on behalf of respondent No. 4 (Copy of the same has been included in the paper books). Counsel for respondent No. 3 has not filed counter affidavit and no rejoinder affidavit has been filed so far.
It is further submitted that the petitioner-in-person has on 22.11.2016 filed written submission in W.P.(C) No. 77/2016 (Copy of the same has been included in the paperbooks).
Service of notice is complete.
Writ Petition(C) No. 130 of 2016
It is submitted that pursuant to order dated 19.09.2016, counsel for respondent No. 1 has not filed counter affidavit so far. No one has entered appearance on behalf of respondent No. 2 though served with notice.
It is further submitted that Mr. Devanshu Kumar Devesh, Advocate has on 20.01.2017 filed vakalatnama/appearance on behalf of the petitioners after taking no objection from the erstwhile advocate.
Service of notice is complete.
Writ Petition(C) No. 171 of 2016
It is submitted that pursuant to order dated 05.05.2016, Mr. A. Subba Rao, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the sole respondent but neither vakalatnama/appearance nor counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of sole respondent so far.
Service of notice is complete.
It is further submitted that the Writ Petitions along with applications above-mentioned were lastly listed before the Hon'ble Court along with connected matters on 15.12.2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following Order:
"List the matters on 24th January, 2017, as prayed for."
