2*.* This Appeal by way of Special Leave Petition is against the decision of National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (the 'NCDRC') in Review Application No. 434 of 2023 in Consumer Case No. 2428 of 2017 dated 15.12.2023. The submission of the learned counsel for the appellant(s) is that the review application was taken up and decided without giving notice to the appellant(s) and an opportunity of being heard. This submission is not opposed by the counsel appearing for the respondents, the only request is for the NCDRC to dispose of the review application as expeditiously as possible.

3. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties, we allow the appeal and set aside the order dated 15.12.2023 passed in the Review Application No. 434 of 2023. We direct the NCDRC to hear the review application after giving the contesting parties an opportunity of hearing. We further

direct that the NCDRC shall dispose of the review application within six weeks from today.
