UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Learned counsel for the parties say that substantial progress has been made subsequent to our order dated 14th August, 2015.

An affidavit has been filed by Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Under Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development in Court today. A report has also been filed by Ms. Renuka Kumar, Principal Secretary in the Department of Women and Child Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh and is taken on record.

We have been informed by learned Additional Solicitor General that pursuant to the order passed by this Court, a meeting was held on 2nd September, 2015 with the Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, in the Chair, with Ms. Renuka Kumar, Principal Secretary in the Department of Women and Child Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh (representative of State of Uttar Pradesh), National Commission for Women, Uttar Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, District Legal Services Authority, Mathura, HUDCO, HelpAge India

and the officers from the Ministry of Women and Child Development.

Learned counsel for the parties are all agreed that substantial progress has been made and as a result of the meeting, several key decisions have been taken. It is unanimously suggested that another follow-up meeting would perhaps assist in resolving all outstanding issues.

Under the circumstances, we request the Secretary in the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India to convene another meeting in the first or the second week of January, 2016, with the participants mentioned above, so that whatever outstanding issues remain, they can be resolved in that meeting and the progress that has been made since the last meeting can also be reviewed.

List the matter again on 5th February, 2016.

Status report be filed at least one week in advance with a copy each to learned counsel for the parties.
