UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
- 1 The Miscellaneous Application has been filed by the Union of India for permitting the transitioning of the National Blood Transfusion Council (NBTC) from the administrative supervision of the National Aids Control Organization (NACO) to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
- 2 Notice has been issued on 26 September 2022.
- 3 The context in which the change in administrative supervision is warranted has been set out in the Miscellaneous Application. There is no reason why the Miscellaneous Application should not be allowed. The prayer for NBTC to be transitioned from NACO to DGHS together with all officers and employees is accordingly allowed.
- 4 The Miscellaneous Application is accordingly allowed.
- 5 Pending applications, if any, stand disposed of.
