For Petitioner(s) Mr. Mathews J.Nedumpara, Adv. Mr. A.C.Philip, Adv. Mr. Rabin Majumder, AOR
For Respondent(s)
UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
We have heard Mr. Mathews J.Nedumpara, learned counsel for the petitioner at great length. He has argued before us that he wants at least one Forum to give him a hearing on his plea as to payment on an insurance policy being taken out by his client. He further states that he is entitled to such payment and, therefore, can not be regarded a debtor. Digitally signed by SHASHI SAREEN Date: 2018.08.11 12:14:24 IST Reason: Signature Not Verified
It is difficult to accept this plea on its merits, and for the reason that the High Court has correctly dismissed his petition on the ground of suppression. We, therefore, do not entertain this special leave petition in exercise of our powers under Article 136 of the Constitution of India.
The special leave petition is accordingly dismissed.
Pending applications, if any, shall stand disposed of.
