UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

The judgment of this Court in Netram Sahu v. State of Chattisgarh and Anr.(2018) 5 SCC 430 which stands referred to a larger Bench has been relied upon in the impugned judgment.

Issue notice, subject to the following conditions:

The petitioner will pay the entire amount which has

been ordered in terms of the impugned judgment to the

respondent No. 1, within a period of four weeks from today.

Further, notice will be issued subject to amount of Rs. 25,000/- being deposited towards litigation expenses of the respondent in case she wishes to contest the matter. The said amount of Rs. 25,000/- will be deposited within a period of four weeks from today in the Registry of this Court which shall be kept in an interest bearing short-term Fixed Deposit account with auto renewal facility.

Tag the matter along with Dhansai Sahu v. State of Chhattisgarh & Ors. [Civil Appeal No. 564/2020 (@ SLP (C)No. 4790/2019)] [(2020) SCC Online SC 141] after getting necessary orders from Hon'ble the Chief Justice of India.
