UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
In the context of the order dated 17th October, 2019, it is stated before us by the Government of Kerala that there is only 250 affected parties now in service and a permanent solution in terms of that order is feasible.
Learned counsel for the respondents however state that the number of people taking into consideration in different districts would not be 250 but about 900 plus. Government of Kerala is not averse to exploring the possibility of settlement but states that if the number of such employees with names is given, verification can be made from the side of the respondents and a final picture can be presented before the Court.
Learned counsel for the respondents states that they will give the list of employees along with Writ Petition Number covering them within two weeks from today.
Learned counsel for the appellants state that on receipt of the list, they will verify the position with the Board and would be able to get back within the period of two weeks thereafter.
List for directions in miscellaneous matters on 17th January, 2020.
