Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

<pre>petitioner-wife seeks transfer of</pre> The the proceedings initiated at the instance of the respondent-husband bearing Civil Proceeding No. 212 of 2023 under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 titled, "Shri Anand Satapathy v. Smt. **Gitaniali** Satapathy" from the Court of Family Judge, Ganjam at Behrampur, Odisha to the Court of the Principal and Family Judge, Surajpur arts, Gautum Budh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh.

The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner left her matrimonial home due to ill treatment

by the respondent-husband and now, she is residing with her daughter and son. He further submits that due to financial constraints and hardship it is not possible for the petitioner to attend the proceedings at a place namely, Ganjam at Behrampur, Odisha which is at a distance of more than 1650 kms. from her place of residence.

Issue notice, returnable in six weeks.

In the meantime, there shall be stay of further proceedings in Civil Proceeding No. 212 of 2023 titled, "Shri Anand Satapathy v. Smt. Gitanjali Satapathy" pending before the Court of Family Judge, Ganjam at Behrampur, Odisha
