Mr. Ramesh Babu M.R. ,Adv UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R Mr. Sidharth Luthra, learned Additional Solicitor General, submits that the follow up action pursuant to the Notification dated February 19, 2013 is under active consideration of the Central Government.

Until that is done, some arrangement shall have to be made. The arrangement made hereunder is purely pro tem measure for the purpose of ensuring implementation of the final order of the Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal dated February 5, 2007, now notified vide Notification dated February 19, 2013 :-

(a) A Supervisory Committee is constituted for implementation of the final order dated February 5, 2007 as notified vide Notification dated February 19, 2013. The Supervisory Committee shall consist of the Secretary, Union Ministry of Water Resources as Chairman and the Chief Secretaries of the respective States of Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Union Territory of Puducherry as Members. (b) In case of any doubt or difficulty, the Chairman,

Supervisory Committee and, if necessary, any of the parties may apply to this Court for appropriate directions with notice to the other States and the Union Territory.

It is clarified that the above arrangement is without prejudice to the pending Civil Appeals, namely, Civil Appeal Nos. 2453 of 2007, 2454 of 2007 and 2456 of 2007.

Liberty to the Central Government to apply for modification of the above arrangement as and when necessary.

Interlocutory Application No. 5 of 2003 stands disposed of accordingly.
