For Respondent(s) UPON hearing counsel the Court made the following O R D E R At the outset Shri Dave gave out that his client is not in a position to pay Rs.20 lakh to respondent No.1 towards the permanent alimony but he is willing to pay substantial amount. Shri Dave then made a request that the parties may be directed to appear before the Mediation Centre of the Kerala High Court at
Cochin to explore the possibility of a negotiated settlement. The request of Shri Dave is accepted and the parties are directed to appear before the Mediation Centre of the Kerala High Court at Cochin on September 23, 2013.
The petitioner shall, within a week from today, send a demand draft of Rs.10,000/- in the name of respondent No.1 at her residential address by registered post.
It is needless to say that if the petitioner fails to send the amount of Rs.10,000/- to respondent No.1, then she shall not be required to comply with this order.
A copy of this order be sent to respondent No.1 by registered post at the address mentioned in the memo of the special leave petition.
