Since the main ground on which the appeals have been dismissed by the High Court is that the appellants/writ petitioners had enjoyed the benefit of interim order for over a year, without complying with direction with regard to payment of property tax, before we hear learned counsel for the parties in these cases, let the petitioners deposit with the Panchayats
concerned, the entire arrears of property tax up-
to-date along with an additional amount of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty thousand only) as compensation. The said deposits shall be made within four weeks. Compliance affidavit shall be filed before
the next date.
