UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

C.A. No 3277/2024, C.A. No. 3342/2024 & C.A. No. 3329/2024

The applications are at the instance of the LRs of Manjit Singh who is respondent No. 4 in C.A. No. 3277/2024 & C.A. No. 3329/2024 and respondent No. 6 in C.A. No. 3342/2024. It is stated that Manjit Singh died on 22.03.2019 and is one of the appellants in Civil Appeal Nos. 3411-3412/2024. Mr. Saurabh Gupta, learned counsel appearing for the LRs of the deceased Manjit Singh states

that the steps to come on record have been promptly taken by the proposed respondents in the appeals filed by the predecessor in interest. The appellants are under legal obligation to take steps to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased Manjit Singh. Considering the nature of controversy and without waiting for the appellants to take steps to bring on record the LRs of Manjit Singh, the applications have been filed for condonation of delay, setting aside an abatement and to permit the proposed respondents to come on record. The affidavit is taken note of and for the reasons noted above, the applications stand allowed.

The appellants are granted eight weeks' time to file amended copy of the Civil Appeal(s).
