UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
- 1 During the course of the Pre-Conciliation Lok Adalat meeting for the Special Lok Adalat convened by this Court between 29 July 2024 and 5 August 2024, a settlement was arrived at between the parties.
- 2 The settlement shall form a part of this order and is annexed as Annexure 'A'.
- 3 The matter could not be finally disposed of in the course of the Lok Adalat and hence it has been listed before the Court.
- 4 Mr Anutosh Gupta, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority is present online through the video conferencing mode.
- 5 It has been agreed that the petitioner shall pay to all the claimants, whose names are reflected in the settlement, or as the case may be, their LRs, an additional amount representing 10% of the settlement, over and above what is reflected in the settlement. This shall be distributed to the claimants.
- 6 In view of the settlement, the Special Leave Petitions shall stand disposed of.
- 7 Pending application, if any, stands disposed of.
