The matter above mentioned was listed with main matter before the Hon'ble Court on 08.03.2016, when the Court was pleased to inter-alia pass the following order:-

Issue notice. The operation of the impugned judgment of the High Court shall remain stayed, in the meanwhile.

It is submitted that as directed above, show cause notice to sole respondent in all the matters was issued on 17.03.2016 by registered A.D. Mr. Ashwani Kumar, Advocate has filed vakalatnama on behalf of sole respondent in SLP (C) No. 6616 of 2016, Mr. Jogy Scaria, Advocate has filed vakalatnama on behalf of sole respondent in SLP (C) No. 6618 of 2016. Mr Anil Nag, Advocate has filed vakalatnama on behalf of sole respondent in SLP (C) No. 6621 of 2016. No one has entered appearance on behalf of sole respondent in SLP (C) No. 6620 of 2016 though served. Neither A.D. card nor unserved cover has been received from sole respondent in SLP (C) No. 6617, 6619, 6622 and 6623 so far. Counsel for the petitioner has not taken steps in respect of sole respondent in SLP (C) Nos. 6617, 6619, 6622 and 6623 of 2016.

For non completion of service in SLP (C) Nos. 6617, 6619, 6622 and 6623 of 2016, the matter was listed before the Court of Ld. Registrar from time to time and lastly listed on 18.11.2016, when he was pleased to inter-alia pass the following Order:-

"SLP(C) Nos. 6616-6623/2016

Appearing respondents have failed to file the counter affidavit within the period stipulated under the rules.

The Learned Counsel for the petitioners has failed to take fresh steps for the service of notice to the sole respondent in SLP(C) No. 6617, 6619, 6622 and 6623/2016 despite opportunities. Viewed in that context, the matter shall be processed for listing before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers for further future directions. Await orders. List thereafter."

It is further submitted that counsel for the petitioner has not taken fresh steps to serve the sole respondent in SLP (C) No. 6617, 6619, 6622 and 6623 of 2016 so far.

The default on the part of the counsel for the petitioner is reported to Hon'ble Chamber Judge with this Office report.
