IN THE SUPREME COURT OF INDIA CIVIL APPELLATE JURISDICTION
CIVIL APPEAL NO. 2730 OF 2012
VINOD KUMAR & ORS. Appellant(s)
VERSUS
KARAN SINGH & ORS. Respondent(s)
O R D E R
Heard the learned counsel for the parties.
We find no ground to interfere with the impugned order passed by the High Court. The civil appeal is, accordingly, dismissed.
However, the grievance raised by the appellants that some of the Patwaris, who have not qualified the Patwar examination, are still being reflected in the seniority list. If that be so, it shall be open to the State to take appropriate decision in accordance with the law.
Pending interlocutory application(s), if any, is/are disposed of.
