2 UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following

O R D E R

There appears to be a conflict between the decisions rendered by the Principal Bench and Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court.

With regard to the decision rendered by the Madurai Bench, it is stated by learned counsel appearing for the State that a review petition was filed but that was withdrawn with liberty to file a special leave petition against the decision of the Madurai Bench.

Learned counsel for the State says that the special leave petition is likely to be filed within a week.

Under the circumstances, we do not feel the necessity of going ahead with this case at the present moment but would like to wait for the special leave petition to be filed against the decision of the Madurai Bench so that if there is difference of opinion between the decisions rendered by the Principal Bench and the Madurai Bench that can be resolved.

Under the circumstances, the matters are adjourned for two weeks.
