UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
Learned Additional Solicitor General states that insofar as the Railway Parcel and Goods Porters are concerned, the same process will be followed as envisaged in Ram Bhajan Das & Ors. v. Union of India & Ors. in Writ Petition (Civil) No.52 of 2016 on which reliance has been placed. He further submits that the judgment is confined to this category of employees only and not to any other category of employees but possibly some others may have been considered inadvertently.
The aforesaid statement is taken on record.
Insofar as any other category of persons is concerned, it is for them to work out their legal remedies, if any, in accordance with law.
All the Writ Petitions stand disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
Pending applications stand disposed of.
