The Civil Appeals and IAs above mentioned were listed before the Hon'ble Court on 21st January, 2015, when the Court was pleased to interalia pass the following Order :

"........Since the proceedings for today are being adjourned at the instance of the UGC, in order to enable them to file Counter within two weeks from today, failure on its part to take necessary steps will require the Secretary, UGC to be personally present on the next date of hearing."

It is submitted for the information of the Hon'ble Court that pursuant to the above said order Mr. T. Mahipal, Advocate has filed reply on behalf of respondent No. 23 i.e. UGC without filing vakalatnama and taking noobjection from Mr. Arjun Harkauli, erstwhile Advocate Since the matter is on board, the reply affidavit is being circulated before the Hon'ble Court.

It is further submitted that Mr. A.P. Mayee, counsel for the appellant has filed application for stay which is registered as I.A. No. 14 and the same is being circulated before the Hon'ble Court.

It is lastly submitted that Mrs. Sarla Chandra, Advocate has filed application for permission to file additional affidavit in I.A. No. 7 (Application for impleadment) which is registered as I.A. No. 15 and the same is being circulated before the Hon'ble Court.
