UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Mr. Mukul Rohatgi, learned Senior Advocate appearing for the petitioner has principally raised questions regarding Direction No.5 issued by the High Court in the judgment under challenge. Mr. Rohatgi submits that according to the Government circular, the compensation disbursed to the heirs of those who lost their lives and to those who sustained injuries, was to the tune of Digitally signed by Dr. Mukesh Nasa Date: 2021.04.30 20:36:54 IST Reason: Signature Not Verified

Rs.37.1 Crores. In any case, Rs.50 Crores stand deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the directions issued by the National Green Tribunal.

Mr. Rohatgi, therefore, submits that Direction No.5 should not have been issued by the High Court.

Issue notice, returnable on 07.05.2021.

Since two matters are pending in this Court and appearances have been entered on behalf of the concerned respondents, service upon the learned counsel representing said respondents shall be taken to be service upon the concerned respondents in the present matter.

In addition, notice be served upon Mr. Mahfooz A. Nazki, learned Advocate who normally appears for State of Andhra Pradesh.

Intimation shall additionally be given to Mr. Y.V. Ravi Prasad, learned Senior Advocate, appointed as Amicus Curiae by the High Court.
