In the conspectus of the matter, since the expert has himself resigned on 04.08.2021 and no more holds the office of the Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister of Punjab, the lis really does not survive for our consideration.

We however, make it clear that we are not inclined to give our imprimatur to the reasoning given in the impugned judgment.

The Special leave petition is, accordingly, disposed of accordingly.
