UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
W.P.(Crl) No(s). 175/2022 and SLP(Crl.) No. 5709 of 2022
In view of the letter circulated by the learned counsel for the respondent seeking adjournment on the ground of nonavailability of Mr. S.V. Raju, learned Additional Solicitor General, list these matters on 28.07.2022.
W.P.(Crl.) No. 222/2022
A request for adjournment is made on the ground of nonavailability of Mr. S.V. Raju, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent-Union of India.
It is pointed out by learned counsel for the petitioner that the adjournment was taken in the past by the respondent(s) and there is some urgency involved.
By way of indulgence, we defer the hearing of these matters till next week, to be taken on 28.07.2022.
Pendency of this matter will not deprive the petitioner to mention the matter before the concerned Judge of the High Court where the bail application is still reportedly pending for pronouncement of judgment, including before the Chief Justice of the High Court for appropriate directions, if so advised.
