The affidavit filed by the petitioners for condonation of delay of 236 days is evasive. It is a case where their writ petition was dismissed by the High Court on the ground of delay of 842 days.

For filing the Special Leave Petition against an order which was dismissed on the ground of delay, the petitioner-State has caused a delay of another 236 days.

The petitioner-State is directed to file an affidavit showing the names of persons who caused the delay before the High Court and this Court.
