We are not inclined to pass any order of stay in these applications. We, however, make it clear that any selection pursuant to the present Notification will be subject to the result of the special leave petitions. We permit the petitioners

to serve notice on the unserved private respondents who are stated to be in the service through the Director General of Police.

Applications are disposed of.
