Pending disposal of the appeal, there shall be interim stay subject to the condition that the appellant shall pay a sum of Rs.10,000/- p.m. from the date of the judgment of the High Court and also deposit the amount calculated at Rs. 10,000/ p.m.- from 1.4.1997 till the date of the judgment of the High Court with the Registry of this Court. The amount so deposited shall be invested into a Fixed Deposit with any Nationalised Bank.
