Having heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and carefully perusing the material available on record, we see no reason to interfere with the impugned order passed by the High Court of Kerala at Ernakulam dismissing the suspension of sentence application of the petitioner.

Taking into consideration the fact and circumstances of the case, we request the High Court to dispose of the Criminal Appeal, pending adjudication before it, preferably within a period of six months' from the date of communication of this order.
