O R D E R

This is the Petition filed by the Wife seeking transfer of the Petition for divorce filed by the Respondent-husband, now pending in the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Tanuku, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh.

The Petitioner is seeking the transfer of the said proceedings to a Court of competent jurisdiction namely the Court of Senior Civil Judge, Kothagudem, Bhadradri Kothagudem District, Telangana State.

The parties were referred to the Supreme Court Mediation Centre, after completion of service. The Supreme court Mediation Centre has filed a Report stating that both parties agreed to bury their differences. But when an agreement was drafted, the Respondent refused to sign the agreement.

In other words, the Mediation did not prove to be fruitful. Today the respondent has also not appeared either in-person or through counsel.

Therefore, considering the facts and circumstances, the transfer petition is allowed.
