UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R
The present petition came to be filed for the alleged non-
compliance of order dated 10th December, 2021.
SLP(C) No. 28992/2018 came to be filed against the order passed by the High Court dated 4th July, 2018.
We dismissed the SLP, at the same time directed the respondents to make necessary compliance of the order of the High Court.
After service of notice of the present contempt petition upon the respondents, a sum of Rs. 8,00,000/- (Rupees Eight Lakh) has been made over to the applicant, as on today.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that still order of this Court has not been complied with so far.
After we have heard learned counsel for the parties, we are of the view that as regards the complaint, which was noticed by this Court of the order not being complied with, we are not inclined to continue the instant proceedings any further, at the same time consider it appropriate to grant liberty to the applicant to initiate independent proceedings for non-compliance of the order impugned dated 4th July, 2018, if so advised. The contempt proceedings accordingly stand closed.
Miscellaneous application is disposed of accordingly. Pending application(s), if any, shall stand disposed of.
