full and final satisfaction. No further amount will be due and payable by the petitioners. Equally, no recoveries will be made. In case any account(s) is/are frozen, it/they will be defreezed within three weeks from the date a copy of this order is received by the petitioners.

The respondent, R.L. Mandal, has made a claim for grant of benefit under the Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme1. His application will be considered in accordance with law within a period of five months from the date a copy of this order is received by the petitioners. In case the respondent, R.L. Mandal, is held entitled to the benefits under the MACP, he shall be granted the said benefits with effect from the date of the order passed. This will be just and fair in view of the payments made.

Recording the aforesaid, the special leave petition is disposed of.
