SPECIAL LEAVE TO APPEAL (CRL.) NO.4700-4701/2014
The applications for exemption from surrendering viz. Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos. 6760-6761 of 2014 were listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 31.03.2014 when His lordship was pleased to pass the following order:
"No case is made out for granting exemption from surrendering, which is rejected. However, six weeks' time is granted to the petitioners to surrender and file proof thereof. If the proof of surrender is filed, the matter shall be listed before the appropriate Bench."
It is submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has not filed proof of surrender of the petitioner. The Additional Sessions Judge-II (Spl.), Kottayam, Kerala has sent proof of surrender by FAX. Copy of the same is being circulated herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.
It is further submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has on 21.07.2014 filed applications for permission to file additional documents alongwith additional documents as volume III and IV and exemption from filing official translation and the same have been registered as Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos. 12471-12472 and 12473-12474 of 2014. Copy of the same has been included in the Special Leave
Petition Paper Books for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.
SPECIAL LEAVE TO APPEAL (CRL.) NO. 4839-4840/2014
The applications for exemption from surrendering viz. Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos. 7861-7862 of 2014 were listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 15.04.2014 when His lordship was pleased to pass the following order:
"The prayer for exemption from surrendering is rejected. However, the petitioner is granted six weeks' time to surrender and file proof thereof.
After the surrender certificate is filed, the Registry is directed to place the matters before the appropriate Bench immediately."
It is submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has not filed proof of surrender of the petitioner. The Additional Sessions Judge-II (Spl.), Kottayam, Kerala has sent proof of surrender by FAX. Copy of the same is being circulated herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.

The applications for exemption from surrendering viz. Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos. 8282-8283 of 2014 were listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 21.04.2014 when His lordship was pleased to pass the following order:
"No case is made out for granting exemption from surrendering, which is rejected. However, six weeks' time is granted to the petitioners to surrender and file proof thereof. Registry shall list the matter thereafter immediately."
iIt is submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has not filed proof of surrender of the petitioner. The Additional Sessions Judge-II (Spl.), Kottayam, Kerala has sent proof of surrender by FAX. Copy of the same is being circulated herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.
SPECIAL LEAVE TO APPEAL (CRL.) NO. 5241-5242/2014
The applications for exemption from surrendering viz. Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos. 9117-9118 of 2014 were listed before the Hon'ble Judge in Chambers on 05.05.2014 when His lordship was pleased to pass the following order:
"The prayer for exemption from surrendering is rejected. However, the petitioner is granted six weeks' time to surrender and to file proof thereof."
It is submitted that Counsel for the Petitioner has on 02.07.2014 filed proof of surrender of the petitioner which is barred by time by 13 days and the counsel has not filed application for condonation of delay in filing proof of surrender. However, copy of the same is being circulated herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.
It is further submitted that Mr. K. Rajeev, Advocate for the petitioner has on 22.07.2014 filed application for permission to file additional documents alongwith additional documents. Application has been registered as Criminal Miscellaneous Petition Nos. 14753-14754/2014. Copy of the same is being circulated herewith for kind perusal of the Hon'ble Court.
It is lastly submitted that all the matters are arising out of common Order and are listed together due to tagging of the matters.
The matters above mentioned are therefore listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
