It is stated that the main proceedings (Civil Appeal No.1851/2020 along with connected matters) were disposed of by a judgment dated 28th February, 2020, remitting the matters for consideration by the Orissa High Court. In compliance, the High Court considered the writ petitions afresh and by its detailed judgment dated 29.10.2021 dismissed the said appeals.

It is submitted on behalf of the State that the special leave petitions have been filed against the judgment of the Orissa High Court dated 29th October, 2021 (in WP 18749, 18715 etc. of 2018 and connected cases.)
