Court on 28th October, 2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following Order :

"Permission to file SLP (C) .... CC No. 20714/2016 is granted. Leave granted in all the SLPs.

We are informed that there are 652 posts of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant which are required to be filled up as on today.

There are 196 appellants before us in these appeals.

In the circumstances, we permit the respondents to fill up the above metioned posts, however, subject to the condition that they shall not fill up 196 posts.

List these apeals for hearing after the summer vacation in the year 2017."

Thereafter SLP (C) No. 36090 of 2016 was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 6th

March, 2017, when the Court was pleased to pass the following Order :

"List the matter along with C.A.No.10513/2016. List on 21.03.2017."

There are four respondents in the matter. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 are represented by Mr. D.S. Mahra, Advocate. Service of notice of lodgment of petition of appeal in respect of Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 is awaited from the High Court.

Civil Appeal Nos. 10515-10555 of 2016:

There are four respondents in each appeal. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in each appeal are represented by Mr. D.S. Mahra, Advocate. Service of notice of lodgment of petition of appeal in respect of Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 is awaited.

Civil Appeal Nos. 10556-10641 of 2016:

There are four respondents in each appeal except C.A. No. 10589 of 2016 in which there are eight respondents. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in all the appeals are represented by Mr. D.S. Mahra, Advocate. Service of notice of lodgment of petition of appeal in respect of rest of the Respondents is awaited.

Civil Appeal Nos. 10642-10656 of 2016:

There are four respondents in each appeal. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 in each appeal are represented by Mr. D.S. Mahra, Advocate. Service of notice of lodgment of petition of appeal in respect of Respondent Nos. 3 and 4 is awaited.

Civil Appeal No. 10657 of 2016:

There are seven respondents in the matter. Respondent Nos. 1 to 5 are represented by Mr. D.S. Mahra, Advocate. Service of notice of lodgment of petition of appeal in respect of Respondent Nos. 6 and 7 is awaited from the High Court.

Civil Appeal No. 12319 of 2016:

The SLP (C) ... CC No. 24151 of 2016 was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 16th December, 2016, when the Court was pleased to pass the following Order :

"Permission to file special leave petition is granted. Leave granted.

We are informed that there are 652 posts of Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant which are required to be filled up as on today.

There are 27 appellants before us in this appeal.

In the circumstances, we permit the respondents to fill up the above metioned posts, however, subject to the condition that they shall not fill up 27 posts.
