UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

Mr. P.S. Narasimha, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the petitioner very fairly stated that he does not intend that the acquittal recorded in favour of the accused-respondent should be disturbed in any manner. Therefore, we are inclined not to issue notice to the respondent.

However, as in a similar matter, regard being had to the importance of the matter, we have recommended for hearing by a larger bench, let this matter be tagged with Crl.MP.No.18713/2012 in Criminal Appeal No.889 of 2007 (Aruy Bhuyan vs. State of Assam)
