Leave granted. Heard both sides. Subsequent to the filing of these matters, the contesting parties, namely, appellants and Respondent No. 4 have arrived at an amicable settlement and have filed joint application for recording the compromise arrived at between them. Both the parties as well as the respective counsel have signed the joint application. In view of the terms of settlement, the parties seek following relief i.e. "(a) The present special leave petition may be disposed off as compromised with the directions to release the possession of farm land to the petitioners and the respondent no. 4 in terms of the present application and; (b) The Hon'ble Court may be pleased to quash the proceedings under Section 145 and 146 Cr.P.C. initiated by the Sub- Divisional Magistrate Udham Singh Nagar and the Receivers be discharged accordingly". ...2/- -2- The application is allowed.
