UPON hearing the counsel the Court made the following O R D E R

1 In our considered view, the judgment of the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission dated 17 June 2020 does not suffer from any error so as to warrant the invocation of the jurisdiction under Article 136 of the Constitution. However, since the appeal has remained pending for sixteen years before the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission1 , we request the SCDRC to dispose of the appeal, being First Appeal No 2484 of 2003, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
