We decline to interfere in these Special Leave Petitions. However, we express a sanguine hope that the learned Single Judge would show deference to the pending appeal and take up the hearing of the Contempt Petitions only if the Division Bench of the High Court so permits. In the event any adverse order is passed in the Contempt Petitions, no effect be given to that order for a period of one week to enable the Petitioner State to take up the matter by way of appropriate proceedings.
