It is submitted that Ms. Shilpa Singh, Advocate has filed Special Leave Petition on 04.03.2017 against the Judgment and Order dated 17.02.2016 of the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh in RFA Nos. 1794/2007 etc etc alongwith application for permission to file Special Leave Petition, application for exemption from filing certified copy of impugned judgment/order and application for exemption from filing Official Translation.

It is further submitted that Counsel for petitioner has also filed an application for substitution to bring on record the Lrs of deceased petitioner no. 1 viz Anchal Singh in RFA No. 1794/2007, petitioner no.2 viz Sarishta Devi in RFA No. 1795/2007 and petitioner no.4 viz Giano @ Gian Singh in RFA no. 2550/2007 which is barred by time by 2042, 1705 and 3239 days and Counsel has also filed an application for condonation of delay in filing substitution application alongwith prayer for setting aside abatement.

It is further submitted that Special Leave Petition filed against the Judgment and Order dated 17.02.2016 in RFA Nos. 1797/2007 is barred by time by 291 days and 220 days in RFA Nos. 1794/2007 etc etc and 249 days in RFA No. 2551/2007 and Counsel for the petitioner has filed an application for condonation of delay in filing the SLP.

It is further submitted that CC No. 2169/2017 Entitled ASHWANI KUMAR vs THE UNION OF INDIA AND ORS arising out of common order was listed before the Hon'ble Court on 03.02.2017 when the Hon'ble Court was pleased to direct to list the matter along with Civil Appeal Nos. 62896322 of 2008. SLP is pending (Copy of order dated 03.02.2017 is enclosed herewith). (Main Matter C.A. No. 62896322/2008 which is an adjourned matter).

The matter is listed before the Hon'ble Court with this office report.
