No. 6298, 6313 and 6321 of 2008, eight respondents in C.A. No.6290 and 6222 of 2008, ten respondents in C.A. No. 6295 and 6305 of 2008, twelve respondents in C.A. No. 6291 and 6310 of 2008, nine, eleven, thirty six respondents in C.A. No. 6296, 6316 and 6314 respectively.

Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 in C.A. No. 6294 of 2008, Respondent Nos. 1 to 3 in C.A. No. 6311 of 2008 and Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 in C.A. No. 6312 of 2008 are represented through Mr. Ashok Mathur, Advocate. Respondent No. 3(iii), namely Bikram Chanda in C.A. No. 6290 of 2008 has been reported "Dead". Remaining respondents have been served with notice but no one has entered appearance so far.

Counsel for the appellant has not filed an application for substitution to bring on record the Lrs. of deceased Respondent No.3(iii) despite this Registry's letter dated 21.11.2016.

C.A. No. 6323 of 2008

There are 1/1, 1/2, 1/3, 2 and 3 respondents in Civil Misc. 2153 CI of 2005 in RFA No. 2047 of 1990 and 3 Respondents in Civil Misc. No. 2155 CI of 2005 in RFA No. 2048 of 1990. Respondent No. 1/1 to 1/3 and 1 in both RFAs respectively are represented through Mr. Nikhil Nayyar, Advocate. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are common respondents and have been served with notice but no one has entered appearance so far.

Service is complete.

C.A. No. 6324 of 2008

There are four respondents. Respondent Nos. 1 and 2 are represented through Mr. D.S. Mehra, Advocate. Respondent Nos. 3 & 4 have been served with notice at SLP stage but no one has entered appearance so far.

It is submitted that Mr. P.N. Puri, counsel for the appellant has on 04.10.2016 filed application for substitution to bring on record the Lrs. of deceased Appellant No. 5, namely Bikram Chanda @ Vikram Chandra Mahajan filed within time. The name of deceased Appellant has been shown as Vikram Mahajan in place of Bikram Chanda @ Vikram Chandra Mahajan on the death certificate.

It is further submitted that counsel for the appellant has on 23.11.2016 filed a letter stating therein that Vikram Mahajan and Bikram Mahajan @ Vikram Chandra Mahajan is the same person.

Service of respondent is complete.

No. 6354, Respondent Nos. 9 to 13 in C.A. No. 6367, Respondent Nos. 4 to 7 in C.A. No. 6376, Respondent No. 3 in C.A.No. 6383, Respondent Nos. 1 to 4 & 6 to 10 in C.A. No. 6387, Respondent Nos.1 to 7 in C.A. No.6388, Respondent Nos.1(a) to 1(d) in C.A. No.6400 of 2008 are represented through Mr. R.C. Kohli, Advocate. Remaining respondents have been served with notice at SLP stage but no one have entered appearance so far.

It is submitted that Mr. R.C. Kohli, Advocate for the respondent has on 13.7.2015 filed application for direction in Civil appeal No.6327-6329 of 2008. The same has been registered as I.A No.155-157 of 2015. Copy of the same is included in the appeal paper books.

Remaining respondents have been served with notice at SLP stage but no one have entered appearance so far.

Counsel for the appellants in C.A. No. 6289-6322, 6323 and 6324 have filed statement of case and counsel for the respondent in C.A. No. C.A. No. 6289-6322 and 6323 has filed statement of case. Neither Counsel for the Appellant nor respondent in C.A. No. 6324, 6325-6400 and 6401 have filed statement of case.
