Applications for exemption from filing c/c of the impugned judgment, official translation and for
permission to file additional documents/facts/annexures are allowed.
Learned senior counsel for the petitioners contends that the statement of petitioner No.1 was recorded while the petitioner Nos.2 and 3 have not been called for recording of statement. He submits that the petitioners run a steel mill and they owe no money to any Bank. We may note that the allegation is that they have lent their companies to transactions which have led to defrauding of banks. The persons involved are merchant bankers, who, at some stage, had a place on the Board of the petitioners' company. The complaint was filed on 15.05.2020.
Issue notice.
Learned counsel for respondent No.2 accepts notice.
Reply be filed within two weeks.
In the meantime, the petitioners be not arrested but shall cooperate with the investigation.
