The learned counsel appearing for the college/University has stated that the amount has been remitted to the concerned institutions and the Principal of the concerned institution has to make the payment to 26 petitioners.

The order has been complied with. Only the disbursement remains to be made. Let the payment be made within a period of one month from today, if not already made.

With the aforesaid directions, proceedings are dropped, notice is discharged. The contempt petition is disposed of.

As far as Petitioner No. 22 is concerned, it is stated that he has retired. Let his pension be also worked out within three months subject to fulfillment of formalities by him.

It is stated that the order has been complied with. With respect to Petitioner No. 16, the case has been forwarded to the Verification Cell on 02.07.2019. It was pointed out by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners that the effective date of absorption has been changed. The date of absorption was not the subject matter of the dispute before us. As such, we give them liberty. In case any of the petitioners is aggrieved by the order, he/she is free to agitate the issue in appropriate proceedings before the High Court or in any other proceedings as advised.

In the circumstances, we give time with respect to Petitioner No. 16 to comply with the order within one month. As the amount has been released, pay fixation may be done by the concerned authorities of the college. Let the pay fixation be done and arrears be released within four weeks by the concerned authorities.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the University has stated that Rs. 97,85,353/- has been released to the College by the University for payment to the petitioner – Baidya Nath Choudhary.
