The University has rejected the application of the petitioner since he has given wrong information regarding his Date of Birth and also on the ground of wrong information with regard to Matriculation examination. In case the petitioner is aggrieved, he/she is at liberty to question the same in appropriate proceedings before appropriate forum, since the order has been passed by the University considering the directions issued by this Court.

In view of the above, contempt proceedings are dropped and the notice is discharged. The Contempt Petition is disposed of.

Since the payment has been released by the State as well as by the University, the matter has to be dealt with by the Principal. We direct the State to ensure that the payment is released within 15 days. We also direct the Principal to disburse the amount forthwith within the outer limit of 15 days. The Secretary of the concerned department shall also ensure that the payment is released.

In case the amount is not released after due verification within the stipulated time, we give liberty to the petitioner(s) to file fresh contempt petition.

It is submitted by the learned counsel that the due amount has not been paid. We cannot go into the question whether they have been served or not. Let the due verification be made and the concerned respondent(s) file an affidavit in this Court as to the payment that has been made and whether that is in compliance of the order passed by this Court. The petitioner(s) may also file an affidavit as to what is the amount due and payable to them.
